| Lilly's First Gift |
The end of a long work day was greeted by a package labeled TO LILLY, FROM GRANDMA (although we obviously haven't officially named her yet, we are fairly certain that we will name our daughter Lilly). This is the first official gift to Lilly! My mom gathered the cutest things together: two pink photo albums, a
Willow Tree figurine of a pregnant mother, and a little fuzzy bear backpack.
We are so excited to invite this little girl into our world and getting cute little things like this are good reminders to me of this journey and how pregnancy really is worth it!
Dinner was composed of a spinach salad, Chinese-style sweet pork buns (Courtesy of the freezer section of Costco), and a fruit smoothie. Not a large feast, by any means, but surprisingly delicious and satisfying :)
Now, what I
really am excited to share is a video I stumbled upon called
100 Years of Beauty: Aging. My description, of course, does not trump the video itself. So I recommend this video to
everyone! This couple is about 1 month away from getting married and participated in a study in which they undergo various age transformations to simulate their aging and growing old together. Let's just say that I shed a few of my own tears as I thought about my sweet husband and how excited I am to spend the rest of forever with him. It will be a great adventure to grow old with the one who my heart really has fallen in love with :)
